Pros: student creativity active participation from all students helpful with assessment can post information on assignments update parents on classroom happenings
Cons: student access to a computer (I don't see this as a problem, but sometimes students will say their computer wasn't working or they couldn't log in
I think that blogging will be a great addition to the classroom and I'm excited to get started!
Pros: one location to provide effective & appropriate access to resources student engagement/collaboration students can see what other students say or ask (I think this may help improve student confidence and then translate into improved class participation)
Cons: Time consuming (at least to get it started or make changes) This is probably not true for everyone, but I could see that I would get carried away and try to do too much
